A New Engine for Global Energy Transition
PV Industry Talent Training Platform Officially Launched
The PV School online training platform is officially released globally today!
As a leader in PV industry talent training, PV School has been committed to building a world-class PV education ecosystem since its debut at the New Energy Conference last year. The launch of the online platform today marks that PV School will break geographical limitations and provide one-stop, high-quality career development solutions for PV practitioners worldwide.

Building an International Curriculum System
Meeting Talent Needs Across the Entire Industry Chain
Leveraging world-class academic resources and industrial practical experience, the PV School online platform has created four core curriculum modules:
Theoretical Courses:Construct a comprehensive knowledge framework covering PV principles, materials science, structural design, and verification.
Technical Courses: Focus on cutting-edge technology routes such as BC, heterojunction, perovskite, and their intelligent manufacturing.
Application Courses:Cover theoretical and practical content related to PV integration design, installation, operation and maintenance, testing, etc.
Industrial Courses:Include practical content such as policy interpretation, market analysis, operation and management, and entrepreneurship training.
The curriculum system adopts a trinity training path of "theoretical foundation - industrial experience - expert refinement", adapting to the full-cycle growth needs from industry newcomers, technical experts to strategic decision-makers. The platform's distinctive "theory + simulation + case" teaching model, based on decades of overseas theoretical accumulation and practical experience from the rise and fall of the global industry, enhances knowledge conversion efficiency and helps students quickly master core skills.

Gathering Global Top Minds
Forming an International Star-Studded Tutor Team
PV School is founded and led by Dr. Pierre Verlinden, an authoritative expert in the international PV industry and Chief Scientist of YIST, as the founding and first president. He has assembled an international tutor team spanning "industry - academia - research - application", including:
Professor Dick Swanson:
Scientist, entrepreneur, pioneer in the industrialization of BC technology, Professor at Stanford University, founder of Sunpower. He has won numerous international awards such as the Becquerel Prize, William R. Cherry Award, NASA Public Service Medal, Shun-ichi Nishizawa Medal, and Karl Boer Solar Energy Merit Medal, and was awarded the Energy Innovator Award by The Economist.
Professor Ned Ekins-Daukes (University of New South Wales, UNSW):
Professor at UNSW, former researcher at Imperial College London. He specializes in new solar cell technology and space solar cell technology, and is a recipient of the Australian Museum Eureka Prize.
Dr. Ivan Perez Wurfl:
Senior Lecturer and Researcher at UNSW, former researcher at the University of Colorado, USA. He focuses on GaAsP/SiGe tandem cell research and also has in-depth research on SiC semiconductor devices.
(More expert tutors will be revealed one after another, so stay tuned!)
More top experts from renowned institutions in the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Australia, Switzerland and other countries participate in curriculum development and teaching. This international tutor team not only brings the latest academic achievements but also integrates practical experience from the frontlines of the industry into teaching, achieving seamless connection between theory and application.

Empowering Global Energy Transition
Writing a New Chapter in Sustainable Development
Driven by the global carbon neutrality goal, the PV industry will surely continue to develop rapidly after a period of challenges, and the talent gap will become an important factor restricting industrial and technological upgrading and iteration. The launch of the PV School online platform will promote industrial upgrading through three major dimensions:
Talent Supply-Side Reform:
It is expected to train 100,000 professional talents annually, alleviating the global PV talent shortage.
Acceleration of Technological Innovation:
Promote the transformation of cutting-edge technologies through education and enhance industrial competitiveness.
Contribution to Sustainable Development:
Help achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 7 (Clean Energy) and SDG 4 (Quality Education).
Pierre Verlinden, founder of PV School, said: "The launch of the online platform is an important milestone in the development of PV School. We will continue to integrate global high-quality resources, build a 'talent engine' for the PV industry, and inject a steady stream of intellectual support into the global energy transition."
