On August 28, the Yangtze Institute for Solar Technology (YIST) was officially granted the ISO 9001 certificate by TÜV NORD, with the award ceremony successfully held at YIST’s premises.
Attendees of the ceremony included Jun Ren, President of TÜV NORD Asia-Pacific and Chairman of TÜV NORD Greater China; Tingting Xu, President of TÜV NORD Global PV Operations Center and Vice President of TÜV NORD Greater China; Dr. Shen Hui, Director of YIST; and Mr. Yuan Xiao, Deputy Director of YIST.
At the ceremony, Dr. Shen Hui, Director of YIST, stated, "YIST has been continuously exploring and practicing, streamlining processes and improving documentation in accordance with the ISO 9001 quality management system. We have implemented strict control over every single process to achieve continuous improvement in management. We would like to express our gratitude to the experts from TÜV NORD for their support throughout the certification process. In its future development, YIST will continue to benchmark against internationally renowned research institutions such as Germany’s Fraunhofer Society, maintain rigorous and scientific oversight over all management processes."
Jun Ren, President of TÜV NORD Asia-Pacific and Chairman of TÜV NORD Greater China, commented, "Congratulations to the Yangtze Institute for Solar Technology on obtaining the ISO 9001 certificate. During the audit, TÜV NORD experts conducted a rigorous review that covered every aspect of YIST’s management. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the TÜV NORD delegation visited YIST’s PV Technology Exhibition Hall, gaining a more detailed understanding of YIST’s plans and vision. Going forward, YIST and TÜV NORD will maintain ongoing communication and cooperation.
